We live in a world of amazing technology. On December 3rd, 2018, NASA landed the OSIRIS-REx satellite on the Bennu Asteroid. We have the technology to successfully complete a seven-year mission and land a satellite on a moving asteroid hundreds of millions of miles away, moving at sixty-three thousand miles an hour. Yet, when I am forced to purchase a new cell phone (a task which I am doomed to repeat about twice per decade whether I want to or not) I discover we do not have the technology to transfer a list of my contacts from my old phone to my new phone without problems. It seems like a basic spreadsheet would do the task, but I admit, there is much I do not understand about this technology.
