If it Barks like a Duck

We live in a word where people have motives and people are human. Humans are fallible, corruptible and make mistakes. It has been helpful to me when learning about the meaning of something or the truth of a problem, to question motives, someone’s past choices and governing morality. It is helpful to get an idea of why one is trying to persuade you. I am not saying people cannot change. Nor is it wrong to try and persuade some with better ideas. But a good measure of future behavior is past behavior. So, when I read something or hear something or someone is trying to persuade me, and I can see evidence f past behavior, it is a good idea to at least be skeptical. Follow the money. The number one job of a politician is to get re-elected. Ask questions. Be skeptical. Be your own expert.
