It used to be (back in the good ole days) that when you consumed the news, you at least knew bias was out there. A newspaper or a news channel would at least give you some sort of a story. You just had to figure out what spin they were putting on it. Now, when you read or consume something, you don’t even know what the story is because the entire story can be complete fiction. What is the corporate press saying? Why are they saying it? Is X true or not? Are we assuming X is true to drive ratings? Is this news or it is entertainment disguised as news?
